The Journey of Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) started 75 years ago with the visionary aspirations of Shri Sardar Patel to establish Vallabh Vidyanagar as India’s first planned University Township. Founded by the stalwarts Shri Bhaikaka and Shri Bhikhabhai, CVM has remained committed to rural upliftment, providing world-class infrastructure for students to flourish.

Charutar Vidyamandal has been granted the status of a Private University by the Government of Gujarat which marks a significant milestone in our journey. CVM University, inaugurated on 25th September 2019, spans 620 acres and offers over 150 courses across 9 faculties.

Dr. Hemant C Trivedi

Dr. Hemant C. Trivedi spearheads the creation and management of an industry-focused MBA program at CVM University, aimed at laying a solid foundation for future leaders. 

With over 25 years of academic experience, he has been associated with esteemed institutions such as Flame University, Pune; School of Petroleum Management, PDPU Gandhinagar; and Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA). 

At MICA, he introduced and led the PG Diploma Program in Retail Communications Management and an Executive Post Graduate Diploma Program in Communications Management. 

Dr. Trivedi held prominent roles including Provost at C U Shah University, Surendranagar, Gujarat, and Dean at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Dehradun. 

He has authored over 30 publications and boasts extensive experience in industrial marketing and administration. Dr. Trivedi’s passion for academic innovation is reflected in his consultancy work in Technology Innovation, Strategic Marketing, and Retail. His Retail Yatra concept took him around all corners of India with his students of Retail.

Prof Trivedi maintains active interest in academic innovation and experimentation. He consults in Technology Innovation, Strategic Marketing and Retail.

With over six years in academia, he specializes in Wealth Management, Security Analysis, Risk Management, and Legal Aspects of Business. Certified by NISM, he manages portfolios and has conducted training in Cyber Security under RBI’s mission AVTU for Urban Co-operative Banks. Passionate about Security Valuation, Derivatives, and Corporate Laws, he has published research papers and presented at national and international conferences.

With over 25 years of extensive experience in Sales and Marketing, this seasoned professional has held pivotal roles in Telecom and Health & Wellness sectors at renowned multinational corporations including Vodafone, Aircel, Reliance Infocomm, and VLCC. For the past four years, her focus has been on developing marcomm and digital marketing expertise to elevate global brands and deliver outstanding outcomes for stakeholders. Recently embarking on her academic journey, she is committed to imparting her wealth of experience to students, aiming to inspire and empower the next generation of marketers.

Nidhi Patil

Result-driven professional offering over 25 years of rich & extensive experience targeting teaching, consulting and leadership roles. Currently doing independent brand consultancy. Developed, enabled and delivered research and practice based academic teaching to MBA and BBA students of pure management, marketing, media & communication, operations, design and liberal education verticals across best B-Schools of India. Supervised and guided the design and development of the curriculum for management education, specifically Marketing area through benchmarking and using Bloom’s Taxonomy.
