CVMU-MBA Inaugurates NEXUS Program-2024 to Prepare Aspiring MBA Graduates

CVM University proudly inaugurated the NEXUS Program-2024, designed to prepare students for the rigorous demands of a two-year, full-time MBA program. The inauguration took place at the CZ Patel College of Business and Management, located on the New Vallabh Vidyanagar College Campus.
Inauguration Highlights
Dr. Hemant Trivedi, Director of CVMU-MBA, initiated the program with a warm welcome to the MBA batch of 2024-26. He engaged the students in an interactive ice-breaking session, fostering a sense of camaraderie among the new cohort.
Following this, a tree plantation ceremony was held, where each student planted a sapling, symbolizing their growth and responsibility over the next two years. These students will serve as “plant parents,” nurturing their saplings throughout their tenure at CVMU-MBA, thereby instilling a sense of environmental stewardship and personal responsibility.
Program Details and Objectives
Assistant Professors Kaival Dave and Nidhi Patil extended their greetings to the students, sharing insightful highlights of the MBA program. They offered valuable career guidance and conveyed their best wishes for the students’ future endeavors.
The NEXUS Program-2024 is a comprehensive bridge course aimed at equipping students with both soft skills and conceptual knowledge essential for their MBA studies. It addresses critical areas such as communication, leadership, analytical thinking, and foundational business concepts. Recognizing the importance of a balanced approach to learning, the program incorporates various engaging activities and fun-filled games to make the educational process enjoyable and effective.
Expanded Accessibility
Originally designed exclusively for students enrolled in CVMU-MBA, the NEXUS Program has now been opened to all students interested in pursuing an MBA. This expansion reflects CVMU’s commitment to providing high-quality preparatory education to a broader audience, ensuring that more aspiring MBA candidates have the opportunity to benefit from this innovative program.
Environmental Initiative
In conjunction with the NEXUS Program, CVMU-MBA has also launched an environmental initiative as part of the program’s activities. The tree plantation drive not only marks the beginning of the academic journey for the students but also emphasizes the importance of environmental conservation. Each student’s commitment to nurturing their plant symbolizes their growth and development, both academically and personally.
